In media and mainstream medical practices, the postpartum experience has been reduced to a few weeks of depression and stress. But postpartum is not a condition. Instead, it is a beautiful, complex phase of life, that occurs after any pregnancy comes to completion.

As a doula, I’m here to support you through pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. No matter your pregnancy experience, the type of birth you had, or your status as a parent, I want to help you heal and integrate into your next phase of life.

Doula Care

These packages are designed to provide the care you need as your body and heart transitions through pregnancy and into postpartum life. For several weeks or months, I’ll be there to support and advocate for you–for your time to rest, for your physical health, and for your emotional wellbeing.

1:1 Consultation

If ongoing doula support isn’t exactly what you need, I’m still here for you. We’ll meet (virtually or in-person) to talk about your concerns regarding pregnancy, birth, or postpartum. We can create your birth plan together, discuss how best to heal after birth, work with your body in one-on-one yoga, meal plan, or ease any fears you may have about your upcoming life transition. Whatever you need, I’ve got you.

Yoga & Education 

As a perinatal yoga teacher and reproductive educator of more than 12 years, my goal is always to offer a safe and empowering space for pregnant and postpartum parents, no matter the container in which we meet. Each yoga class integrates education, breath-work, gentle movements and mindfulness exercises to strengthen the body during pregnancy or heal it during postpartum.

My community education classes draw upon science, research, and intuition to help you build a strong foundation as you prepare for birth or postpartum.

HOW IT WORKS

  • We’ll get to know each other and talk about where you’re at and what your unique needs may be. Whether you’re currently pregnant, already postpartum or simply thinking through reproductive options, there’s no wrong time to seek support.

  • Are you seeking support during pregnancy, postpartum, or the entire experience? We’ll work together to decide which type of care is best for you - whether that’s remote or in-person care, a private consultation, or a doula package.

  • Once we discover which kind of support is best for you, we’ll work together over time to prepare your body and heart for birth, ease the discomforts of pregnancy, or heal your postpartum body - all in collaboration with your healthcare providers and existing support system.
